We were thrilled to work with CPA Australia once again for their prestigious INTHEBLACK magazine, photographing Santa Cardenia FCPA, Chief Financial Officer of the Western Australia Police Force. This feature highlights Santa’s role in managing a $2.9 billion budget and ensuring community safety through financial strategy.
Editorial Portraits That Tell a Story
Our assignment was to create a series of compelling editorial portraits that reflected Santa’s leadership, confidence, and dedication to public service. Working on location at the Western Australia Police Force headquarters, we aimed to blend professionalism with approachability, crafting images that resonate with both finance professionals and the broader community.

For this session, we focused on:
Authentic & Confident Poses – Highlighting Santa’s strength as a leader in financial management.
Professional Backdrops – Shooting at the Western Australia Police Force headquarters added authenticity and depth.
Natural Yet Polished Lighting – Balancing strong, natural light with controlled studio techniques to ensure clarity and vibrancy.
Wardrobe & Styling Guidance – Collaborating with Santa on outfit choices to complement the magazine’s professional aesthetic.

The Final Editorial Feature
Our work was featured in the February 2025 edition of INTHEBLACK, with a cover portrait and a full spreadshowcasing Santa’s insights into financial leadership within law enforcement. Seeing our work in print is always rewarding, and this project was a testament to the power of editorial portraiture in corporate storytelling.
