The WA Made Film Festival is the only independently operated film festival in Western Australia dedicated exclusively to WA-made films. Taking place in the heart of Perth, this vibrant event showcases local filmmakers, stunning WA landscapes, and uniquely West Aussie stories. With world premieres, networking events, Q&As, and post-screening parties, it’s the ultimate celebration of WA’s film industry.

The festival is spearheaded by Managing Director Jasmine Leivers and Festival Director Matthew Eeles, who live and breathe Aussie cinema. Jasmine, a powerhouse producer, has worked across TV, short films, and feature films, while Matthew, the founder of Cinema Australia, is always championing homegrown talent. Their passion fuels the festival, and we love being part of the magic they create!
