As Western Australia’s oldest, permanently settled town, Albany’s rich heritage is reflected in the architecture throughout the town. Aside from being the oldest settlement it WA, it is also the home to the last whaling station in Australia. I have a certain affinity for this sleepy little town and I always enjoy learning about the history of a place, so we had to check out the old whaling station that is now a tourist destination called Discovery Bay.

Moving to the Country, Gonna eat a lot of peaches! I would be lying if I didn’t say that “Peaches” by The Presidents Of The United States Of America was stuck in my head the entire thirty minute drive to the Perth Hills.
